Civil Litigation

This was my first experience working with an attorney. I was on a sharp learning curve, but I must say that Mrs. Carper was patient and forthright when necessary when it came to what was expected and required of me.

I have had the pleasure of using this law firm for several years for various legal matters. My appointments were made quickly, the attorneys were professional, and my legal options were explained thoroughly. The spirit of advocacy is abundant at the practice and I so appreciate their help and opinions, no matter what season I am in!

Brittany Carper is a competent attorney that has a tremendous amount of drive. She is extremely intelligent and crafty. Like Julius Caesar, she is a master tactician with the brutality and precision of Mike Tyson, laying waste to those who would stand against her. She is not to be trifled with. Those who do pay with a pound of flesh. Have her on your side as destruction waits for those who do not.

We all do our best to get along, but disagreements happen. If individuals, businesses or government entities can’t resolve disputes, a court of law can step in to determine the outcome. This legal process is known as civil litigation.
Contract and Payment Disputes
A contract is an agreement between two parties that is enforceable by law. Contracts can be established between individuals or businesses, and can cover a wide range of civil matters. Some common contract disputes are related to:
- Agreed upon debts and payment arrangements;
- Lack of payment for goods provided or completed services;
- Lack of goods or insufficient services for payment provided;
- Property ownership, including real estate and property line disputes;
- Homeowner’s Association regulations; and
- Disputes between business partners
When you enter into a contract with someone, you expect them to uphold their end of the agreement. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. Contact one of our experienced civil litigation attorneys if you are party to a contract with someone that is defaulting on their obligations.
